2012 General Election Polling Stations in The Bahamas

Nassau, Bahamas - The Department of Voter Registration advises that it has stopped accepting applications for the advanced election poll, scheduled for Tuesday, May 1, 2012. It is also advised that voters cards can now be collected at the Kendal Isaacs Gymnasium.

Police are investigating a gun attack on the Governor's Harbour Police Station in Eleuthera over the weekend. Superintendent Elbert Ferguson, the officer in charge of the island, confirmed that officers were in the station when someone opened fire on the building early Saturday morning.
